What Personal Information About Customers does Hans Motors gather?

• Information You Provide Us: We receive and store any information you enter on our web site or give us in any other way. This information is gathered from the forms to request further information. You can choose not to provide certain information, and mandatory fields on forms are simply there so that we have, for example, your correct name, address and postcode.

We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us in the future. You may email sales@hansmotors.co.uk at any time if
you wish to opt out of receiving any marketing material that we may send you.

Do Hans Motors share information about you?

• No. Information that we receive about you, obtained from on-line orders and catalogue requests is
  not passed outside Hans Motors unless strictly necessary in order to process your enquiry (see "Outside Agents" below). Our aim is to respect your personal details and privacy. Other information about you, such as your email address is not divulged to any other outside party, and any mailing lists are encrypted so that no one else receiving a newsletter from us would know the identity of anyone else on the mailing list.
• Outside Agents. We use carrier companies such as Express Despatch, UPS and Royal Mail to deliver goods and information. Your name and address only are held on the carrier’s computers in order that labels may be printed out to attach to the parcel. The carrier’s computers are within our premises, so that a database of customer details cannot be passed on to outside organisations.
• Other Outside Parties: When requested by Law, we would release information about you,
  for example during the course of a Police or Customs investigation.

Email and Spam

Hans Motors will not send out random, unsolicited emails, and our mailing list of customers who have indicated that they wish to receive newsletters is held on a secure multi password protected server so that no outside organisation can access this mailing list in an attempt to send spam mail. We deplore such spam mails and our assurance to those customers who have indicated that they would like to receive newsletters and special offers is that these are the only emails that they will receive from us, and that their email addresses will not be passed to any other organisation outside Hans Motors.
